Video 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jriLbBS_vis&list=PL2KHqMIEctdRhGw4Uj-nfwdwEgDdn5j96      In this video, I learned how to use the selection tool in Adobe Illustrator. This tool is fairly easy to use and is a tool that I learned quickly. The selection tool will be used very ofter when working with any image in Illustrator. This tool can be used to move the image, change the size of the image, and select different parts to an illustration. Overall, the selection tool is essential when using this program. Canvas Project- Scrappy Doo

Image
In this project, we were to pick an image, draw it, and then remake the image using HTML code on a canvas. The image I picked was Scrappy Doo from the cartoons. When I was first sketching this cartoon, I realized how some parts of it are more complex lines and some are much more simple and easy to draw using code. After having the image drawn, I used Adobe Dreamweaver and HTML code to start tracing the outline of Scrappy using shapes, quadratic curves, and Bezier curves. After I was done tracing my sketch, I starting to fill in the different shapes that I had drawn. This is where I encountered my first problem. I was unable to fill in the body of Scrappy doo because his body was most drawn using quadratic curves. I tried my hardest to figure out a way to fill in his body, but the code did not allow it because it does not count the curves that I used to make his body as completed shapes. Despite this hiccup, I continued to make the background and added some sha...

Internet/ World Wide Web Blog post

By definition, Internet is " a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols.". Internet was founded by  Vint  Cerf and Bob Kahn in 1969. It was originally made and used for simple communication between computers, starting out with only the letters "LO". Currently, the Internet is one of the most important things about modern day society, with it being used for communication, education, calculation, or anything else that you can imagine.       Something much similar to Internet is the World Wide Web, which is by definition; " an information system on the Internet which allows documents to be connected to other documents by hypertext links, enabling the user to search for information by moving from one document to another.". The World Wide Web was invented by Sir Tim Burners-L...
